Click here to see the video! Volunteers rolled up their sleeves to help spruce up a home in Nashville today and they did it in part to honor a Brentwood teen recently killed in a car wreck. Volunteers with the Both Hands Foundation got donors to sponsor their participation in the benefit. Instead of running a race or playing golf, they dedicated their time to helping a widow property. Today's efforts had special meaning for friends of 19 year old Ty Osman. He was killed in Texas in early March while on a mission trip.
JT Olson says, "It gives us a chance to do something constructive with the pain. It's painful...and it's not the kind of pain that goes away easy, but when the church comes together and does something like this...this is a lot of people from all different backgrounds and walks of life coming together and saying, 'let's do this in memory of Ty'"
The money raised will be donated to an orphanage in Honduras.
