Welcome to the McQuade Both Hands project page!
Mike and Jenn McQuade have 4 biological children and adopted 2 girls from China in 2008. The McQuades decided to do a Both Hand’s project to bring home their 7th child, Liam, a special needs toddler from China. One month before they were going to bring Liam home, they were made aware of a 13 year old boy from the same orphanage who needed to be adopted within a month. Keane would have been taken off the adoption list if he turned 14 on July 1, 2011. The McQuades felt the call to adopt both boys. Their Both Hands Project helped the family to raise the funds necessary to bring both boys home!
8 months of paperwork is all coming together in just a few really long days and our fundraiser with BothHands is tomorrow! Lots of $$$ to raise, but God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. We've got our seat belts fastened and we're holding on; please pray that we don't miss any of these great lessons from God.
