Madison Big Build Project

Welcome to the Madison, WI Big Build Project Page!!

"This [project] was one of the most satisfying things I've ever done. This [project] didn't feel like work. Sure, it took a lot of time and effort, but the appreciation from Gloria at the end of the day made it all worth it." -Steve Roller, Project Manager

Meet Gloria
Gloria's husband died of a heart attack 3 years ago at the age of 60. She had knee replacement surgery on both knees last year, and now has back problems. It's very hard for her to do things around the home she has lived in for 37 years. Gloria has 2 children and 5 grandchildren.

Project Agenda for Gloria's home-
-Painting four rooms
-Fixing some basement walls
-General clean-up and de-cluttering
-Removing a lot of clutter from her garage and basement
-Fixing garage door
-And more

The money raised during the Madison Big Build Project on 9/17/11 will be used in three ways –
1. Adoption funding (grants and loans)
2. Orphan Care projects
3. A generous philanthropist will match the amount raised dollar for dollar. All the money raised for the project will go towards adoptions and orphan care. The matching funds will cover the the operating expenses of Both Hands.
What a great way to leverage your charitable donations and get a great return on your investment.

We invite you to be a part of this awesome opportunity. Think big!!

A note from a volunteer:
"I wanted to take a moment to brag on Steve Roller (and Emida) for this project. Steve & Emida did a fantastic job with the Big Build team and with Gloria. Steve showed amazing leadership at every level on this project and was there until the bitter end! He was well organized and was an excellent communicator. There were no surprises and everything was in good order! They also did a fantastic job keeping everything in spiritual perspective for everyone!
You couldn't have recruited a better couple for the Madison Big Build project!! -Chris Sandler "
