The Forgotten Initiative partnered with Both Hands to raise funds to help “bring joy and purpose to the foster care community.” The TFI team and volunteers spent a day working on a foster mom's home.

Alisa is a kind-hearted and dedicated foster mom living the Bloomington, IL area. Foster care has always been a part of her life.  Her parents fostered when she was a child and as an adult, Alisa began her own foster parenting journey. Over the last 14 years, she has fostered 17 children and adopted two.

On July 7, the TFI team of volunteers spent the day working on Alisa’s 4-bedroom home. Volunteers are raising sponsorship for their day of work.

100% of the funds raised will help The Forgotten Initiative:
1. Develop and Expand their Initiatives Locally and Nationwide
2. Support and Equip their Forgotten Advocates
3. Launch new Forgotten Advocates across the Nation
